[Ready to ship] - “Ocean Sunrise” - Merino/Yak/Nylon 4ply - hand dyed yarn - limited quantity
This listing is for one skein of hand dyed yarn. The yarn is dyed and ready to ship. Availability is limited, only a few left. Please purchase enough to finish a project since no more of this colourway is available.
You can find this colourway in the “Dye to order” section as well on a wide range of yarn based.
70% Superwash Merino/20% Yak/10% Nylon. Each skein is 400m (437 yards) / 100g (3.5 oz).
This is a beautiful luxurious yarn blend that is naturally grey due to the Yak contents. Yak wool is so fine that it is on par with cashmere. It is softer than merino, but has a very distinct squishy texture. Yak wool is more breathable and more warm than most of the other wool types. It has fantastic drape and it will make an incredible item that will serve for years. A bit of nylon content adds extra durability.
Disclaimer:
All available skeins are ready to ship within 1 working day. If you are placing a backorder, the processing time might reach 2 weeks.
- I dye in small batches and a few skeins might be ready to ship straight away.
- Please note, that since the yarn is hand dyed, no two skeins are identical, and skeins from different batches may vary. If you'd like to use a few skeins for one garment, please buy enough in one go so I could dye it for you with as little variation as possible.
- I would be happy to wind your skeins into cakes at no cost, please leave a message at checkout if you'd like that. Otherwise your yarn will be shipped in skeins
- I use acid dyes that result in vibrant permanent colours. I recommend to handwash a ready item in cool water with as little movement as possible for best results. Some colours might bleed at first wash.
