"Cherry Garden" - Kid mohair silk - hand dyed yarn

Lace weight yarn that knits beautifully on its own and makes a bright airy fabric.

Hold this yarn together with another thread and you will get a unique halo glow effect. Works well with both lighter and darker colours. Bright spots on mohair will stand out on any background, it will look like you are painting colours on your fabric!

In my case I held one thread of mohair together with two threads of lightly coloured sock yarn (Superwash Merino/Nylon 420m/100g) to make this super soft hat. 

72% Kid Mohair/28% Silk.
Each skein is 420 meters (429 yards)/50g (1.8oz) - lace weight.

I use acid dyes that result in vibrant permanent colours. I recommend to handwash a ready item in cool water with as little movement as possible for best results. Some colours might bleed at first wash.
